Terms & Conditions of Trade
Any reference in these Terms and Conditions of Trade mean:
1. “us”, “we”, “our” means Lovers Eclectic Hire Limited.
2. “you”, “your” means you as our client.
We have a minimum order of $500 per event.
All quoted prices are based on a 3 day hire period. Should you require any items for an extended period of time please contact us for a quote.
Delivery is additional to the quoted prices, and will be quoted on each booking based on location. You are deemed liable for the items at the time of delivery until collection.
We are happy to courier items anywhere in New Zealand. Please contact us for a quote. You are deemed liable for the items at the time they leave our warehouse for delivery until they are returned.
To secure your items for your event date, payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit is required. On payment of your deposit, you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions of Trade. You will be invoiced for the balance of your booking 6 weeks prior to the date of your event and, that invoice is due for payment 4 weeks prior to the date of your event. Should you not make payment of your final invoice on or before the due date, we have the right to cancel your booking and retain your 50% non-refundable deposit.
We will accept amendments to your order up to 6 weeks prior to the date of your event, provided that the amendments will result in an equal or greater amount to your original order. Subject to availability.
If you cancel your booking within 4 weeks of the date of your event we have the right to retain your full payment. Your non-refundable deposit is non-refundable at all times.
Please take extra care with our beautiful items and ensure they are kept dry and out of the weather.
We require all items to be returned to us cleaned. If items are not returned clean, we will charge a cleaning fee of $45 per hour, which we may retain from your bond.
You are solely responsible for all items upon delivery and until return, including but not limited to theft, breakage, water/weather damage and stains. We will inspect all items on return, and use our sole discretion when assessing any damage. You are entirely responsible for any damage to our items. On discovery of any damage, we will invoice you for the cost of repair or replacement of the item. Your bond amount will be deducted from this invoice.
We will charge a 10% bond to your order, which will be added to your final invoice. The bond will be refunded to you upon return and inspection of the items, provided we are satisfied that no damage has been caused.
